Do It Yourself Cranberry Facial

This week we have a fantastic DIY facial mask using antioxidant-rich cranberries. Naturally, cranberries are great for masks because they decrease inflammation and are full of vitamins and flavonoids that enhance the skin and aid in regeneration of skin cells.


  • Cranberries
  • Plain Yogurt
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon

Preparing The Cranberries:

Blend 1/2 cup of Cranberries and slowly add in the other ingredients in the amounts below.

Plain Yogurt:

Yogurt is our next ingredient in the mask, this is because it contains lactic acid and alpha hydroxy acid that helps to dissolve dead skin cells through exfoliation. Add 1 Teaspoon of Yogurt to your mixture.


Our next ingredient, Honey has powerful anti-bacterial properties that stops acne-prone skin in its tracks. It does well as a moisturizer and rids of debris in the pores to help keep your skin from developing blackheads. Add 1 Tablespoon of Honey to your Mixture.


The final Ingredient in our amazing cranberry facial mask is cinnamon because it draws oxygen, blood and nutrients to the surface of the skin through the stimulation, in other words it is our ingredient that helps exfoliate. Cinnamon has a variety of other benefits for you, it is a natural anti-fungal agent and antiseptic. All those qualities help to keep the skin's surface clean and kill bacteria that otherwise would turn into acne.  Add 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon to your Mixture.

Applying the Facial:

Once you've you finished preparing your facial mask just apply some to your face and leave it on your skin for 15-20 minutes. After, rinse with warm water.
