FAQ's

When and how often you get a chemical peel depends on your goals and skin concerns. Superficial peels can become part of your monthly skincare routine, as they’re the gentlest on your skin. A more advanced peel, however, should be performed over time to allow the skin to heal properly before a subsequent peel can be performed.

It can take up to ten days to shed the damaged skin. You will notice healthier, more even skin underneath after shedding. However, plan to be flaking and shedding skin for up to two weeks after your treatment. Do not peel the skin off. Do not vigorously rub your face, exfoliate, or use a towel. The skin must shed on its own. Peeling the skin yourself can result in scarring and other wounds. When needed, gently pat the face dry. Refrain from rubbing moisturizer or serum into the skin, pat dry instead. Finally, always follow the post-treatment protocol given by your aesthetician.
